Rituparna Sengupta Biography

Rituparna Sengupta is a prominent Indian Bengali actress. 

Rituparna has been involved in the Bengali film industry

since 1989 and has also acted in several Bangladeshi and Hindi 

films.

Her skillful acting in both commercial and artistic films has

won her several awards.

Rituparna Sengupta's acting career began with the second

episode of the Bengali serial Rang Berang (1989)

produced by Ratna Ghoshal, Shwet Kapote,

opposite Arindam Gangopadhyay.

Her first film was Bahattar Din Por (1990),

opposite Arjun Chakraborty. In the nineties,

she reached the peak of success by teaming up with Prosenjit 

Chatterjee, Chiranjit Chakraborty and Abhishek Chatterjee

in a series of commercial Bengali films.

Her first Bangladeshi film was Swami Ken Asami (1997)
