Bijori Barkatullah Biography
Bijori Barkatullah is a Bangladeshi actress, dancer and model.
Barkatullah's ancestral home is in Kalapara Upazila of
Patuakhali district.
She graduated from the Department of History, University of
Dhaka.
Bijori married Bangladeshi actor Intekhab Dinar on 14 April 2013,
before which she was married to music director Shawkat Ali Emon
from 1996 to 2012. Emon and Bijori have a daughter, Urbana
Shawkat.
Bijori made her acting debut in the play Sukher Khudhpatra in
1988.
This play was directed by her father, Mohammad Barkatullah.
Then after a long break, she acted in the serial Kot Kou Nei.
Then she acted with Mahfuz Ahmed in the play Megh Kalo,
which was directed by Abdus Sattar.
Her notable work is in the play based on the film taken from
the life of Zahir Raihan.
She has also been a model for many popular advertisements.
