Ziaul Faruq Apurba (known as Apurba)

Apurba is a Bangladeshi actor and model.

Apurba was born on 27 June 1983 in Shariatpur district.

His mother Firoza Ahmed was an artist of Rajshahi Betar.

His maternal grandfather was a presenter of Rajshahi Betar.

Apurba was interested in showbiz since childhood.

He gained fame as "Mr. Bangladesh" on the show

"You Got the Looks" in 2002.

Apurba's career began with modeling in Nescafe advertisements 

directed by Amitabh Reza Chowdhury. 

His Lab Aid advertisements also gained popularity.

Apurba started his career by acting in television dramas,

making his big screen debut with the film Gangster Returns

in 2014 and the web series Bukhat Maakh Agun in 2023,

and he is best known for his elder son's drama.

Apart from acting, he also practices music.

Apurba is one of the most popular actors in Bangladesh.

In 2017, his performance in the drama Boro Chole was praised

and he won the Meril-Prothom Alo Award in the Best TV Actor 

category in the Star Survey.
