Kajal Biography

Kajal also known by her married name Kajal Devgan,

is an Indian film actress who works primarily in Hindi films.

Born in Mumbai, India, to the Mukherjee-Samarth family,

Kajal is the daughter of actress Tanuja Samarth and filmmaker 

Shamu Mukherjee.

Kajal is one of India's most successful and highest-paid

actresses.

She has won six out of twelve Filmfare Award nominations in

her career.

She holds the record for most Filmfare Best Actress wins,

five times, along with her aunt Nutan. In 2011,

she was awarded the Padma Shri, the country's fourth highest 

civilian award, by the Government of India.
